Here are three lovely limericks submitted from a student that I met during one of my Sydney school visits this week.  How very clever of you Natasha.

LIMERICKS by Natasha, Ryde

Limerick No.1

 My friend Cain

Who comes from Spain

Falls down the drain

And when it rains

It causes him pain.

Limerick No.2

My dog Lee

Got bitten by a flea

And then it couldn’t see

 Not even me!

Limerick  No.3

My friend Mary

Turned into a fairy

I thought she was scary

Because she was soooo hairy

So now her name is Mary the hairy, scarey fairy.

Thanks Natasha – they’re lovely,  Hope you don’t mind that I’ve added a hairy fairy to your poem –  I found it on google.

Hope to see more of your poems, and thank you for being the first to submit on my new poetry blog – just for kids.
